Nobody likes them but we all have to follow them. Below is a list of Veloc!ty's rules, and punishments for each.

General Rules

• If you are under 13 years of age, leave now. It's against the law for you to be here if you are 12 or younger, so go.
  
  
• Be courteous to all members, staff, and guests.
  
  
• No spamming the site, the cbox, via PM, at all. If any spam is reported, it will result in a one day ban minimum according to the incident. Advertising your site through PMs is considered spam and will get a member banned for a week.
  
  
• DO NOT STEAL. If any copyright infringement or theft is uncovered, the person responsible will be banned for life. Username, IP, the whole sh-bang. Do not steal from others.
  
  
• Cursing is allowed, but let's keep it to a dull roar both in and out of RP. (obviously, depending on your character you will curse more IC than OoC. Just please be careful.)

Posting/IC Rules

• There is a 200-word word count in effect on the side. Most of you probably know how to get around this, and to be quite honest, it's ok. However, try to shoot for at least 170-ish because I hate to tell you this friends, but 150 words does NOT look like 200. The first part of the codeword is 'sta'.
  
  
• Stick to your char's personality!! I know that sometimes it may be a little hard, but please; you made your characters the way they are for a REASON. Stick to it please.
  
  
• Your main character will be your screen name. Feel free to spice it up, make it unique, but it must be your main char, and it MUST be original. I don't want 30 Willows and Stews running around.
  
  
• I will allow each member 6 wolves per account. ONLY six. And they must all be in your sig somehow. You can have their pictures scroll across the sig area ( {move}{/move} tags), have a sig with all their pictures, or just list them, but they must all be there somewhere. Feel free to have nonsense in your sig as well if you have room for it. The only catch is that your signature cannot be larger than 500x500. (if your sig is scrolling then it may be as long as you like.)
  
  
• No power-playing or god-modding. Since this is a literate RP I'd hope that you all know what those mean. Failure to abide by either of these rules will result in a warning, second offense a two-day ban, third offence account deletion.
  
  
• You must post your character's bio after FIVE DAYS of being a member. You must post in your first thread after TEN DAYS of having your bio accepted. The code to the bio form continues 'rle'.

Grammar

• Something that you will quickly learn about me is my nerdy love of proper grammar and such. I 100% understand when you use a certain type of dialog/grammar to suit your characters, but in OoC, please use Spell Check and all that good stuff.
  
  
• Detail, detail, detail!! Although I said it's ok to occasionally cheat the word count a little, the easiest way to not have to is to add in as much detail as possible. Give your character a setting, a train of thought, opinions, describe them so that the replier does not have to go find their bio and read it, capture their persona of the day. The third part of the word is 'ssw'. Detail is all around you, you just have to find it.
  
  
• Lastly, HAVE FUN!! Veloc!ty was made for canine-lovers to come here and enjoy RPing wolves, making friends, playing in games and contests, and typing 'olves' as the last part of their code word.
